Virtual Resource Room

Students can request academic, tech, or online skills support via the Virtual Resource Room. This is available for Face to Face, Live Stream and Big Spring Cyber students and staffed Monday-Thursday from 8:00am - 6:00pm.

To Request Academic Support via the VRR:

• Complete the Form:  Virtual Resource Room Entry Ticket (BEST way to access help! Complete the form and you'll be sent a google meet link to get help!)

The Virtual Resource Room (VRR) is designed to help students in real-time with problems like locating assignments, academic help, technical issues, and online survival skills like planning, prioritizing, organization, focus, and getting started on assignments.

The quickest means to reach help is by completing the Virtual Resource Room Entry Ticket, which will ultimately direct users to the VRR Meeting Room.

When a request for assistance is submitted, students may be directed to some help videos, and ultimately to the VRR Meeting Room if the videos do not meet their needs.  If a student reaches the VRR Meeting Room and there is no staff member available, they should leave a message in the chat and keep the meeting open on a tab.  The room is staffed most of the hours it is available. When a staff member enters the VRR Meeting Room they will check to see if there are any students awaiting help. ]

Students will enter a virtual waiting area before being admitted to the VRR meeting room.

The Virtual Resource Room is open 8am-6pm Monday - Thursday.
