The Big Spring School District is proud to offer transportation in accordance with regulations established by laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the School Laws of Pennsylvania, the Motor Vehicle Code and the local school board policy #810. The following guidelines may provide answers to some questions.
Attention: During the week of August 24th, 2020, the Transportation Department will be uploading new bus information (Bus #, Bus Stop, and Estimated Time of stop) to the Aspen Parent Portal. This information can be viewed by clicking on your student names under the Family Top Tab - Details Side Tab - Transportation screen tab. This information will be updated daily and should be checked often for changes as bus routes are updated daily as changes need to be made. The Transportation Department will not be mailing postcards this year.

Parents of kindergarten students are reminded that a responsible person is required to meet the kindergarten student at the bus stop. The student will be returned to the school of attendance if no one is at the bus stop to meet the child.

The Big Spring School District continually strives to ensure the safety and security of our students, For that reason, security cameras have been installed on all district buses. If your child rides a district bus (to/from school, activity buses, field trips, etc.), he/she may be subject to audio and video recording.
