Health and Physical Education Teacher

Hi students,

Hope you are well-staying active and healthy.  I will be offering you some PE/fitness activities to keep you physically healthy while you are away from school.  Feel free to email me at rreisinger@bigspringsd.org with any questions or concerns.

Some info. about myself....I have been one of Big Spring's Middle School Health and Physical Education teachers from 2013 until the present.  Before coming to Big Spring, I previously taught at Virginia Beach, 8 years, and Juniata High School, 1 year.  

I graduated from West Perry High School and attended Old Dominion University on a Div. I field hockey scholarship.  I was fortunate enough to earn two NCAA Div. I Championships while at ODU.  I returned to Perry County, married, and have two children, Clayton 4 years, and Andrea 2 years.  I enjoy doing things with my family and outside activities  such as fishing in our pond and hunting on our land.

I enjoy teaching the students at Big Spring different physical activities and nutritional information.  I always stress the importance of trying to do their best at all times.  The students will be introduced to many different activities such as Yoga, Zumba, P90x, PiYo, basketball, volleyball, etc.  Hopefully my emphasis on daily exercise and healthy eating habits will help them develop a healthy body and lifestyle.
