Dr. Sarah E. Roller

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!  My name is Dr. Sarah Roller and I live in the Mechanicsburg area.  I graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary and Special Education.  In 2011, I completed my Masters Degree in Elementary Mathematics and Science at Slippery Rock University.  In 2016, I completed my Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management through Drexel University.

This will be my seventeenth year of teaching here at Big Spring.  Joining me this year are Ms. Sally Hurley and Ms. Susan Leigh; life skills paraprofessionals!

My personal philosophy toward education is that students learn best when they are actively involved in the process.  Actively involved, to me, does not merely begin and end with class participation.  Rather, it extends to the use of hands-on activities that will simulate the skills that each student requires.
