I am the STEM Teacher here at Big Spring Middle School.  STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.  In this course, students will explore STEM concepts and topics through the use of several different platforms.  They will be doing Coding through a software called Codesters that uses Python programming language.  They will be engineering and building amusement park rides using K’nex.  They will be building robots using Lego Mindstorm EV3’s.  They will be solving and creating mosaics with Rubik Cubes.  They will be designing and engineering 3D puzzles that they will then get to 3D print.  Hopefully I am able to encourage and challenge your students to be creative, collaborate, and be critical thinkers and problem solvers.  If you have any questions please send me an email.
