Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Ryan Kelley

Welcome to my teacher page!  Please utilize this page for basic information about the 8th Grade Math and Algebra I courses, as well as some helpful web resources for extra math help.

Information about online assignments during current school clousure:

Assignments will be uploaded to Google Classroom prior to Monday morning each week.  Four assignments will be uploaded each week and the students are encouraged to choose two of the assignments to complete (they may do more if they would like).  Students will receive an engagement rating based on their completion of assignments.  Students will receive a rating of "highly engaged," scored as a "2," if they complete 3 or more assignments in a week, a rating of "engaged," scored as a "1," if they complete 2 assignments in a week, or a rating of "not engaged," scored as a "0," if they complete 1 or no assignments in a week.

Students and parents may also access the following link for PDF versions of all the available offline assignments as well as a weekly overview template of the assignments given for that week.  Link: Mr. Kelley's Online Assignments Folder  Please note that the assignments and overview templates are dated to show the weeks they were assigned.  It is still preferred for students to access the assignments through the Google Classroom page if at all possible, so that they can type into their documents and turn the assignments in easily.  Some assignments require online access to complete.  Information about these can be found on Google Classroom or the weekly overview templates.

Mr. Kelley will be available through a Google Meet each Monday 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM if students need to ask questions about assignments or just check in on how things are going.  A link to join the Google Meet will be emailed out to the students prior to each Monday.  The time from 11:00 - 11:30 will be focused on 8th Grade Math content and assignments and the time from 11:30 - 12:00 will be focused on Algebra I content and assignments.
