Mr. Frank Landis

Hello Everyone!

My name is Frank Landis and this is my fifth year teaching 7th grade social studies at Big Spring Middle School. In addition to teaching, I am also a varsity wrestling coach at the high school. 7th grade social studies a geography based curriculum with a focus on the Eastern Hemisphere. In this course we will do a little bit of everything, covering some culture, history and geography for Africa, Asia and Europe. This year will bring some new challenges and hurdles to overcome, but I'm confident that we will find ways to work through them and have a productive and positive experience for all students! As we move through the year, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have. An important part of a successful year will be an open line of communication. Assignments will all be located at classroom.google.com. Codes to join google classroom will be emailed to all students before the first day of school.

I am excited to be seeing students in person again, as well as working with our live stream students who will be with us virtually!
