BSMS Students Recognized at Board Meeting - Oct. 2nd

Big Spring Middle School’s Family and Consumer Science Teacher, Rebecca Whigham, introduced middle school students Sophia Bono, Eve Deitch, and Ava Hutchinson to the Big Spring Board of School Directors at the October 2^nd meeting.  The students were inspired by a food sustainability lesson to collect food and create a food closet for donation to those in need.  The girls entered the Explore.Act.Tell contest based on their efforts and won $1,000 from the Acme Foundation which will be used to further support their actions to prevent hunger in our community!
