OUTSTANDING VISUAL ARTS COMMUNITY 2022
The Pennsylvania Art Education Association (PAEA) has recognized Big Spring School District for their commitment to visual arts education with the endorsement of Outstanding Visual Arts Community 2022. Districts receiving this endorsement demonstrate the importance of their visual arts programs with programs that are rigorous and inclusive, highly accessible, and highly visible.
Big Spring students demonstrate the importance of a well-rounded education with opportunities to engage in art education courses at all grade levels, K-12. These opportunities prepare students for robust futures in the creative industries as well as prepare them for skills needed across all aspects of life, such as problem solving, flexible mindsets, team and collaboration skills, creativity, and more.
Big Spring is one of 39 schools selected across Pennsylvania and we couldn’t be more proud!
