Free & Reduced Lunch Application
Children need healthy meals to learn. Big Spring School District offers healthy meals every school day. Breakfast is available at no charge to students. Elementary lunch costs $2.85 and secondary lunch costs $3.00. Your child(ren) may qualify for free meals or for reduced price meals.
The printable packet below includes an application for free and reduce price meal benefits, and a set of detailed instructions as well as some common questions and answers to help you with the application process.
If you have received a NOTICE OF DIRECT CERTIFICATION letter for free meals, do not complete the application. Please inform the school if any children in your household are not listed in the NOTICE OF DIRECT CERTIFICATION letter that was received.
