Overview

The Big Spring School District operates the School Lunch/Breakfast Program administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education Child Nutrition Program.  Our goal is to provide your child the recommended dietary requirements for lunch and breakfast needed for healthy growth and development.  Our highly qualified staff is dedicated to this commitment and the nutritional needs of your child.

The Big Spring School District, in partnership with Chartwells, uses Nutrislice to publish school menus on a new interactive website and smartphone app.  In addition to viewing menus, you may also filter common food allergens and access nutritional information.  See link on the left (Breakfast and Lunch Menus at left) to access this website.

Payments can be made at the school or online. Online payments can be made by accessing the My School Bucks website link shown on the left.

“MySchoolBucks” is the online software that should be used to deposit into café accounts here in Mosaic by Credit Card, Debit Card, or bank transfer.

Payments can also be done by paying by check, cash or money order by mailing or sending to the DO.

Students can bring check, cash, or money order to school. There are secure drop off points in our secondary schools for envelopes or it can be given to one of our cashiers during service to be deposited into their account. For our Elementary friends it should be collected by their teachers in the morning and sent to the cafeteria staff or to DO, in one envelope for deposit and processing. If sending a check please be sure to include your child’s name and account number in the memo line.
