Enrollment

New Student Enrollments must complete the Online Registration Gateway process. Required paperwork can be uploaded during the online registration process. 

The following information is required for enrollment: 

• Birth Certificate
• Immunization Records
• 2 Forms of Proof of Residency

Other information needed for enrollment:

• Most Recent Report Card or School Schedule
• IEP
• Custody Agreement or Court Documents

Proof of Residency – acceptable documentation includes two (2) of the following:

• Signed and Dated Lease or Rental Agreement
• Signed and Dated Sales Agreement
• Current Utility Bill Showing the Date
• Mortgage Agreement
• Driver's License/DOT ID
• Credit Card Bill
• Property Tax Payment Receipt
• Paycheck Stub
• Voter Registration

Parent Guide for Using Aspen Online Registration - It is suggested that a desktop computer be used when first creating your account.  If using a mobile phone, it is suggested you use either Safari or Chrome as your browser, so that you have the option of switching to the desktop version.  Please reference the Parent Guide for more information. 

START ENROLLMENT

Parents or legal guardians may register children who will be five years old on or before September 1, 2025 using our online registration system which is available by clicking the link below and selecting the CURRENT school year (2025-2026) for registration. 

There will be several documents that will be necessary for you to upload as you complete this process: 

• Birth Certificate;
• Immunization Records (most up to date records from pediatrician)
• Proof of Residency – acceptable documentation includes two (2) of the following:

Upon successful completion of the online process, each family will be emailed confirmation of their completed registration as well as an appointment time and date for Kindergarten Registration Day.  Your contact information will also be shared with your child’s school to include in future kindergarten registration/orientation communications.  During Kindergarten Registration Day, our incoming kindergarten students will be able to meet kindergarten teachers, our support staff (school counselors, school nurses, speech teachers), see the building, and start the process of becoming a Big Spring Bulldog!  

Registration Day dates are only held in the spring.

It is important to register eligible kindergarten students as promptly as possible. Registration Day appointment times will be assigned only after a completed Kindergarten Registration is received.  Students may not participate in Kindergarten Registration Day without an appointment.  The District Administration Office located at 45 Mount Rock Road is open during the hours of 8:00 am and 2:00 pm for registrations.  Please do not wait until your child turns 5 to start the enrollment process and do not hesitate to enroll even if you are uncertain if you will be sending your 5-year-old student this school year.

Kindergarten Physical Form -- NOTE: This form is NOT required for Kindergarten Registration, however it is required by the school nurse.  We highly recommend submitting it during Kindergarten Registration.
