• Staff members should send their flexible learning activities to their assigned administrator by the deadline to begin the approval process.

     

    Due dates and administrative assignments are in the "Approval Dates & Deadlines" section of the Flexible Professional Learning Website.

     

    Level 1 – Assigned Administrator

    • Administrator reviews for alignment to building goals/BSSD Strategic Plan
    • Administrator sends to appropriate Level 2 Committee with one of the following recommendations:
      • Yes, moves forward for approval as is
      • Yes, moves forward for approval after collaboration and agreed upon changes
      • Not recommended for approval - Needs significant revision with rationale why

     

    Level 2 – Professional Development Committee

    • Committee reviews for evidence and hours, using professional learning rubric
    • Committee sends to Level 3 with one of the following recommendations:
      • Yes, moves forward for approval as is
      • Yes, moves forward for approval after collaboration and agreed upon changes
      • Not recommended for approval - Needs significant revision with rationale why

     

    Level 3 – Central Office / K-12 Review

    • Review for K-12 consistency
    • Communicates with staff the final approval or denial of learning activity, with next steps for completion
    • Reviews evidence and awards hours
